Draft Surf is a surfboard brand founded by Josh Kerr, who spent seven years on the WSL Championship Tour. Every Draft board is designed around how you actually surf, from the Performance shortboards and twin fins to the Cruiser mids and fish. The goal is simple: help surfers worldwide find a board that fits them, and keep pushing their surfing beyond the ordinary.

Which Draft surfboard is right for me?

Start with the waves you surf most and how you want the board to feel. Choose Performance for speed and sharp turns, or Cruiser for easy paddling and more waves on everyday days. Still unsure? What’s the difference between Performance and Cruiser boards?

Performance boards, including the Overdrive, Whatever and Successor, are built for speed, control and powerful turns, and suit intermediate to advanced surfers. Cruiser boards, including the Eternal, Menace Mid and Motivator, carry more volume for easier paddling, more stability and more waves in small or mellow surf.

How long do custom Draft boards take?

Every custom Draft board is handcrafted to your dimensions. Clear PU builds take 4 to 8 weeks, and clear epoxy builds take 6 to 10 weeks. Tints, sprays and Ai Carbon add around 2 weeks. Shipping is added after production. Need a board sooner? The stock range ships in days.
